Stamped Concrete is concrete that has been patterned or textured and/or embossed in a manner to look like brick, flagstone, slate, stone, marble, tile, wood, and many other different materials. Another option for the homeowner is to use natural stone patterns. Although, the patterns can be created from pebbles, rocks, tiles, etc., the most commonly used material is slate. If the homeowner chooses a darker texture for their patterns, they may want to consider applying a slightly tinted sealer that will help to protect the patina of the stone. Tinted sealers are available in a variety of colors and will provide a more elegant, natural look to the patterns.
